The U.S. Education Department’s annual look at crime statistics in education is out, and chock full of broad information about campus crime. Here’s a top-line graph from the report:
As you can see, incidents of on-campus crime have dropped from over 40,000 incidents in 2001 to about 30,000 incidents in 2012. Here’s a breakdown of what students are getting arrested for:
