Introducing Wired Campus's First Guest Blogger, Tracy Mitrano
Happy New Year! For 2009 we’re bringing more voices into the mix here at the Wired Campus blog, by running occasional posts by guest bloggers. These reports will supplement our usual mix of news and features with dispatches from top leaders in education technology.
So to kick things off, I’m happy to introduce our first guest blogger, Tracy Mitrano, director of information-technology policy in Cornell University’s Office of Information Technologies, where she also directs the computer policy and law program. She is an active IT leader nationally, serving on the Board of Directors of Educause, a higher-education technology organization, and as a faculty member at the Frye Leadership Institute. She has spoken at The Chronicle’s annual Technology Forum and has written about “How Colleges Should Respond to File-Sharing Charges,” for The Chronicle Review.
