Campus Management Acquires Customer-Relations Software Company
Campus Management Corporation, a Florida-based company that makes student-information software for colleges, announced this week that it had acquired Talisma, a company that makes software to manage client relations for colleges.
Officials would not reveal the purchase price.
Timothy B. Loomer, president of Campus Management, said that many colleges that already own student-information systems to manage student records are looking to add features that help track recruitment and other interactions with students. “We see it as a very logical extension of the student-info system,” he said.
Mr. Loomer said that no Talisma employees would be let go in the merger. Talisma’s software will now be known as Campus CRM powered by Talisma. —Jeffrey R. Young
