  2. We definitely need to cast a broader net when considering our tech costs. But this guest blithely refers to skyrocketing college costs which are actually quite different depending on the instition, category of institution, or state one examines.

    College costs are more affordable than <a href=“http://www.cnbc.com/id/26394375”>many American families think</a>and we need to keep reminding everyone of that, even as we make sure that federal and state budgets for education aren’t cut – thus passing along the very real costs of education to students.
