International Universities Release Content on iTunes U
This week ten universities in the United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia began sharing educational content on iTunes U.
iTunes U, Apple’s free online portal for educational video and audio downloads, now has content from over 60 higher-education institutions around the world, with the vast majority of participating institutions located in North America. A number of media, museum, library, and other educational institutions also share content on the iTunes U portal.
Two American institutions, Clemson University, and the School of Visual Arts in New York, also recently joined the portal service.—Catherine Rampell
