Open Access From Ann Arbor
The University of Michigan has unveiled an online archive that offers public access to over 24,000 pieces of research conducted on campus.
The database, called Deep Blue, joins a growing list of open-access projects that colleges have started to disperse their research results. Deep Blue already boasts studies on such diverse topics as architecture, kinesiology, and Judaism, and the archive is expected to expand as more professors log in to deposit their own work.
