Former Alabama Chancellor Pleads Guilty to Bribery

Roy W. Johnson Jr., the embattled former chancellor of Alabama's system of two-year colleges, has agreed to plead guilty to 15 counts of conspiracy, bribery, obstruction of justice, and money laundering, and pledged to cooperate in a continuing federal investigation into the system, federal prosecutors have announced.
