Student housing at the University of Akron is in such short supply that some residents are being lodged in a grain elevator.

It's not as rough as it sounds. Televisions, sheets, towels, magnifying mirrors, and lamps are only a few of the amenities the 206 new residents enjoy — all luxuries by college-dorm standards.
