The editors at Motto magazine have come up with a list of the 10 best college mottos. While a critic might question some of the selections (Stanford's "The wind of freedom blows" seems particularly vulnerable to mockery), it certainly is interesting to learn some of these little-used slogans.

And it made us wonder: What didn't make the cut? Here are a few possibilities:
