Jury Orders Fresno State to Pay Ex-Coach $5.85-Million in Discrimination Case

A jury has ordered California State University at Fresno to pay $5.85-million to a former women's volleyball coach who sued it for sex discrimination. The award, which the university said it would appeal, is believed to be one of the largest ever for a coach suing for bias.
