Who needs HBO? At the University of Memphis, two college-operated movie channels are available free to students, along with the basic cable package that comes standard in every dormitory room.

The content for the two channels is provided by Residence Life Cinema, based in St. Louis, which obtains the copyrights from Hollywood studios that are needed to broadcast movies...
