Part-time professors fight for unemployment benefits between low-paying jobs

Donald Zimmerman has taught English part time at Olympic College for 10 years. Each quarter he teaches two or three courses. The job is never going to make him rich. He gets $2,280 per course and has yet to crack $20,000 a year.
