Free-Speech Group Backs Former Student in DVD-Decoding Case With Movie Industry

The Student Press Law Center, which defends students' free-speech rights, has come out in support of a former computer-engineering student who is embroiled in a lawsuit with the movie industry. Matthew Pavlovich is accused of publishing on the Internet a code to unscramble encrypted DVD's.
