United Negro College Fund Raises $70-Million for TechnologyBy FLORENCE OLSEN
The United Negro College Fund last month announced a gift worth $1-million from the Hewlett-Packard Company, raising to $70-million the amount that the fund has received in a campaign focused on the technology needs of its 39 member colleges. The company will provide printers, desktop computers, servers, and laptops to member colleges.
