Survey of Science and Engineering Programs Won't Name Names -- Yet
Ranking graduate programs has always been a risky business, but the authors of a massive on-line survey of the experiences of Ph.D. students in science and engineering promised at first to throw caution to the wind (The Chronicle, June 18). Last week, they came to their senses.
