This database shows the tuition and required fees at more than 3,200 colleges and universities in the academic years 2006-7 and 2007-8.

For 2007-8, charges for both state residents and out-of-state residents are listed. The 2006-7 figures cover state residents only.

The figures represent charges to first-time, full-time undergraduates based on a nine-month academic year of 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours. An asterisk (*) indicates that an institution provided estimated figures for 2007-8. The designation "n/a" indicates that tuition figures were not available.
