New Arrest Nabs 6th Football Player in Assault Case at Guilford College

Another member of the Guilford College football team has been charged with assault in connection with an alleged attack 10 days ago by several football players on three Palestinian students, bringing the total number of athletes charged to six, the News & Record, a newspaper in Greensboro, N.C., reported today. The attackers, who left the Palestinians with serious injuries, were said to have shouted “terrorists” and racial slurs at their victims. Three football players were arrested initially, and two more were detained last week.
