Cuyahoga Community College

About the College

Cuyahoga Community College opened in 1963, and was Ohio's first community college, and now serves 55,000 students each year at three campuses. More than 500,000 county residents have come through CCC's doors.

The College offers the associate's degree, certificate programs and the first two years of the baccalaureate degree. The curriculum includes nearly 900 credit courses in 70 career and technical programs and liberal arts at its three campuses, and more than 50 off-campus sites and through television and the Internet.

CCC offers a top quality education and flexible learning options at the lowest tuition in Northeast Ohio. The college also generates spending of about $500 million in Northeast Ohio and sustains more than 25,000 jobs.

In addition, more than 400,000 Northeast Ohio residents attend college-sponsored cultural, community and sports programs each year. The college is home to Tri-C JazzFest, the nation's premier educational jazz festival, and also hosts popular cultural arts programs at Playhouse Square and at our three campus theaters.   • More than 34,000 students enroll annually in credited classes, approximately 20,000 each semester
  • More than 12,000 students enroll annually in continuing education and training programs
  • More than 700,000 area residents have attended Tri-C
  • Child care centers are available on each campus
  • Tri-C leads the state with 27 health career programs
  • Tri-C's three campuses in Parma, Highland Hills Village, and downtown Cleveland provide modern state of the art facilities and equipment
  • Tri-C students come from every municipality in Cuyahoga county and represent 42 cities and townships, 32 school districts, as well as other states and countries
