Fast Facts

The 2007-2008 student body population on our Orange Campus is approximately 6,022. Our University College student body population is approximately 6,329 per term.

Since 1991, enrollment has grown approximately 100% while the average SAT score of our incoming freshman has increased every year to the current level of 1,830.

Chapman upholds its proud tradition of providing personalized education to students by maintaining a full-time faculty to undergraduate student ratio of 1:14 on its Orange Campus.

The university has completed its largest fundraising campaign ever, having raised $214 million dollars for chairs, professorships, and academic and research centers for new facilities, which include the new Leatherby Libraries, the Wallace All Faiths Chapel at the Fish Interfaith Center, Marion Knott Studios, Ken and Toni Oliphant Hall, the Lastinger Athletic Complex, and the Folino Family Aquatic center.

Chapman is ranked in the top-tier of 128 western region universities and colleges in U.S. News & World Report's America's Best Colleges for the last nine years.

Chapman is academically accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

As an institution, Chapman University draws strength from its denominational origin and affiliation with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ); thus a Chapman education is dedicated to openly affirming diverse ethical and religious perspectives.
