The State University of New York College at Cortland is one of 64 campuses in the statewide system. More than 7,300 students are enrolled in programs leading to bachelor's and master's degrees. The College's three academic divisions - arts and sciences, education and professional studies - include 23 departments offering 58 majors and 38 minors.

The College's main campus covers 191 acres and is located in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of Central New York, just off Interstate 81, a major north-south highway. With more than 1,000 employees, SUNY Cortland is Cortland County's largest employer. The city of Cortland has 20,000 residents and is the county seat.
