Located at the core of Silicon Valley, San José State University supplies the area's high tech economy with thousands of graduates in engineering, business and science each year. More than 100 languages are spoken on the campus. New facilities include the award-winning Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library, which houses nationally recognized centers for the study of the works of John Steinbeck and Ludwig von Beethoven. Campus Village, a new housing complex opening in fall 2005, will include a building for faculty, staff and guest housing.
