Founded in 1865, Rider is organized into four colleges - the College of Liberal Arts, Education, and Sciences, the College of Business Administration, the College of Continuing Studies, and the Westminster Choir College. The University currently serves almost 3,500 full-time and over 800 part-time undergraduates as well as almost 1,200 graduate students in over 60 undergraduate and 17 graduate programs. Full-time faculty number 215, over 90% of whom hold doctoral or other appropriate terminal degrees for their disciplines. The student faculty ratios have remained constant over the past 5 years at 15:1. Rider University is housed on two campuses with convenient access to New York and Philadelphia. The Lawrenceville campus is situated on 350 acres between Princeton and Trenton. The 23-acre Princeton campus, home of Rider's world-renowned Westminster Choir College, is located in the heart of that community. The Lawrenceville/Princeton area is one of the most attractive residential and business locations on the East Coast and hosts the headquarters of many nationally and internationally renowned corporate and non-profit organizations.
