Educational Leadership - Graduate Program Director and Assistant
/ Associate Professor - 0404447
The College of Education at James Madison University seeks a
tenure-track faculty member in Educational Leadership to begin
August 2012. Responsibilities include serving as the M.Ed. Program
Director for Educational Leadership, maintaining and developing
statewide school relationships and providing visionary leadership.
Academic rank will be commensurate with experience. Some teaching
is required.

Applicants must hold an earned doctorate in educational leadership.
Applicants must exhibit effective relationships with PK-12
stakeholders, a successful record of instructional, collaborative
leadership, at least five years of experience in school-level
administration and/or central office administration, experience
with and knowledge of Virginia Department of Education policies,
and superior oral and written communication skills. Experience in
higher education teaching and learning, including traditional and
virtual modalities and innovative scheduling, work with
nontraditional students, and a record of scholarly activity/writing
are preferred.
