Northland College, an environmentally-committed college on the
shores of Lake Superior, is searching for an Assistant Professor of
Sustainable Community Development. This full-time, tenure-track
position begins in late August 2012, and will contribute to the
College's new Connections Liberal Education Curriculum.
Northland College has 650 students and 45 faculty and is located in
Ashland, Wisconsin.
Qualifications & Responsibilities A Ph.D. in Community
Development, Urban/regional Planning, International Development,
Public Policy, Political Science, Landscape Architecture, or a
related field is required. Additional requirements include teaching
experience at the college level, an active research program that
will engage students in community development issues, the ability
to contribute to the sustainable community development major and to
Northland's collaborative liberal arts curriculum.
