Thompson Rivers University (TRU) is a uniquely comprehensive,

The School of Business and Economics (SoBE) is one of the most
dynamic academic units at TRU with a rapidly expanding
International student body. It offers a wide array of undergraduate
and graduate-level certificate, diploma, and degree programs in
business and economics including an MBA. These programs are taught
domestically and internationally using both on-campus and distance
delivery methods. Throughout its programs, SoBE stresses active
student learning as well as the globalization of the business
environment.
SoBE is seeking a capable educator to join its faculty beginning
July 1, 2012 as an Assistant Professor. Tenured faculty who have
already attained the rank of associate or full professor at other
institutions are also encouraged to apply.
DUTIES:
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and
graduate-level courses in corporate finance, investments and/or
financial institutions management as well as maintain an active
research agenda. Faculty are also expected to make service
contributions to their profession, department, school, institution
or community by participating on various committees and
contributing to other initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must possess:
· Ph.D. or have the Ph.D. in hand at the time of commencement of
the appointment;
· Related professional designation(s);
· Relevant work experience; and
· Superior teaching, service, and research abilities.
COMMENCEMENT OF EMPLOYMENT: July 1, 2012
