The Department of Student Activities at Texas A&M University
is excited to announce the posting of the Special Assistant to the
Director position. This position provides advanced program and
project management for the Director of Student Activities and
serves as a vital member of the department's leadership team. This
position will also serve as primary advisor to the Texas Aggie Yell
Leaders, a high profile student organization whose members serve as
ambassadors of the University. The ideal candidate will have the
acumen to handle complex situations and multiple responsibilities
mixing long-term projects with the urgency of immediate demands on
the organization; commitment to university's and department's core
values; and outstanding communication skills including an
understanding of social media. He or she must also have the
demonstrated ability to deal with highly confidential information
and act as a liaison between the director and other constituencies,
both internal and external.
