Terms and Conditions Regarding Submissions

The following terms and conditions are subject to change so please review this page on occasion.

• In exchange for our one-time payment, you give The Chronicle the exclusive right to publish the article in any form for 30 days. After 30 days, you give The Chronicle a non-exclusive license in perpetuity to republish the article in print, online, or in any other form, and to include the article in electronic archives and databases, whether maintained by The Chronicle or by third parties.
  
  
• You retain the right to republish the article anywhere else you choose. We will approve requests to make limited numbers of copies of the article for use by students, and we will refer other third-party reprint requests to you for your approval.
  
  
• In submitting the article, you warrant that it is original, does not infringe another's copyright or proprietary rights and does not violate any person's right of privacy, and that the article has not appeared in any other publication in whole or in part.
  
  
• You will be deemed to have accepted these terms upon submission of your article and/or upon accepting payment from us.
