The Voice of Reason

I just realized that my fora time was off by an hour.  Is it possible that this could have been true for a week without me noticing? I forget when we fell back an hour.

I realized this only slightly before you did.

Hey, mine is, too.  What the....?  Does the CHE not change for the time change?

There was a thread on this previously, I now recall.

I do not know how to fix it.

Calm down, people.  This is easily fixed.  Go to Profile, then Look and Layout Preferences, then click Auto Detect next to Time Offset.

It would be too exciting were I anything but calm. (Thank you for helping.)

The weekend is over, and I've made little progress in past expense reports and reviewer assignments for a special issue.

This seems on the edge of ontopiciality given my last post.

Rest assured, it took me about 2.5 hours to figure out what the heck I was doing through trial, error and youtube videos. It was the most graceless spreadsheet ever made, but functional.

I started to prep for Monday's class when I realized it was Thanksgiving break. Now I can do housework.

It is time for my daily breakfast dilemma.  I am not yet fully awake and so there is a decent probability I could injure myself peeling a banana.  On the other hand, I am ravenous and must eat right now.

I have started needing hand cream for the first  time in my life.  I am not altogether keen on the slight greasy feeling.

I got myself ready to go to campus - mascara and everything - and then I decided I can continue working here for another couple of hours.  I will probably take off my shoes and put on either slippers or flip flops.

According to my calendar I have a "meeting" this afternoon. One hour remains for me to figure out where the meeting is and for what purpose. Chances are it will be far below the threshold for thread appropriateness.

I should have changed the kitty litter today. I must do so tomorrow. There will also be laundry.

Grocery shopping will take place tomorrow.  Perhaps bagels will figure in the operation.
