Plans? Plans? In this country?

Flexibility is key - for instance it's a standing joke in my department that if it's warm and sunny SE is working at home.

Thermometer says it's 10C. Wegie says she's wearing three layers of clothing, including a thermal top, and is freezing.

Brrrrrrrr.

Just finished a big high pressure report.

Recovering by drinking wine in the sun. Lovely!

Bummer

I worked at home this afternoon - in my sunny and warm back garden. May be slightly sun burned...

<looks up prices for travel to S_E's place>

We've also had two thunderstorms, and judging by the purple clouds heading this way either hail or thunder is on the menu in the next few minutes :-(

We had lovely sunny weather yesterday and today as well, but they say there are thunderstorms on the way, just in time for the weekend!

Approx 30C here with bright sunshine today. Since you ask, yes, I am a few thousand miles from Scotiaville.

It is the weekend. We have thunderstorms and rain. I have to work today, but tomorrow I had planned a day of exploration before my flight. It looks as though I will have to choose between getting wet and museums.......

I will be back tomorrow, airlines permitting. I am looking forward to cool weather: cold and even damp will be a welcome change: at about 4 pm this afternoon I would happily have exchanged extreme (for me) heat and humidity for cold and damp. Heat and a fever were a particularly grim combination.
