Yay, crumpet.

I am not doing my Dreaded Tasks. Though I really need to hop on them, since some of them must be finished next week.

What I got done today:
--Got the empty rat cage cleaned so it's ready for the rats to move back to this weekend when I clean the other cage
--Take Biokids out to get stuff with their Christmas money. Because they HAD to get more stuff ASAP.
--Picked up some essentials so I can breathe and find paper towels when I need them.
--Made a pitcher of kool-aid so we can make ginger-ale/kool-aid punch for Bioson for our New Year's Toast held at 9 PM sharp. Bioette hates carbonation and wants plain kool-aid. I asked the wine store for a mild red and mild white and brought one of each home to try. Not sure if we'll toast at 9 PM with punch or wine.

What I must do by Jan 4th:
--Letters of Recommendation
--2 syllabi
--3 CMS websites
--Prep Turnitin and textbook website
--Get permission for case studies
--Send forms to publisher I did a review for so that I can get paid.

Also need to:
--Install software on new iMac so I can get everything from old computer working on new computer
--Convince Bobbie to eat! She's been on a hunger strike for TOO LONG. I put a new heater under her cage this afternoon so we can get the temp up higher. That might be part of the problem. Or maybe not.
--Declutter. This will take a solid month. <whimper>
--Laundry
--Get back on top of the budget. Big time.
--Other stuff I am forgetting right now because I'm in denial.
--Measure and order new fan for bathroom. I tried going to Lowes to get duplicate of the old one and they didn't have it. Grr.

--Laundry Thank you, Biodad!
--Get back on top of the budget. Big time.
--Measure and order new fan for bathroom.
--Pay bills
--Send receipt to FSA account since they cannot believe I actually used a medexpress for qualifying medical expenses. Sigh.

My progress today has been far too slow and interrupted a million times by needy kids.

Minor things I did get done:
Purchased dogfood
emptied email inbox on new computer
Took Biodog on a 1 mile walk around the block before the bad rain/sleet/wind hit.

What I must do by Jan 4th:
--Letters of Recommendation
--2 syllabi - first one is in progress
--3 CMS websites
--Prep Turnitin and textbook website
--Get permission for case studies
--Send forms to publisher I did a review for so that I can get paid.

Also need to:
--Take Bobbie to vet Tuesday morning
--Replace storm door latch that broke last evening just in time for the first snowstorm of the year.
--Declutter. This will take a solid month. <whimper>
--Get back on top of the budget. First step- set up new software that is Lion compatile. Quicken is DOA
--Send receipt to FSA account

Why can't I just crawl back into bed and emerge in the spring?

FSA form, new claim, and flu shot reimbursement forms are all submitted online or ready to mail.

Crumpet, I agree it has been bonkers. It's just going to get worse!
