Can I offer you (at a very reasonable rate!) lessons in tying shoe laces with one hand, teeth and the end of a toothbrush? [I don't remember velcro being available on shoes in the mid-1990s when I damaged my wrist. Slip-on shoes are useless for walking distances in so I devised the scotia patent thingummy for lace tying. The technique does require intact ribs though, so no good if they took a pounding also.]

Ribs aren't too bad -- I can't see the bruise, although WH was wincing as he put witch hazel onto it -- but will the technique work with an electric toothbrush?

You need to be able to get the none-brush end of the toothbrush in your mouth and have some ability to move it (the brush is used to pull a loop through), so if the brush and mouth are in similar proportions to mine, I would suspect not......

Today:
Finish reading PhD proposal
Office hours - Wow. A taker!
Email stuff to another PhD student
Email J re delivered paperwork
Track down and read reading for tomorrow - one found in the filing cabinet, will have to pull the other one off the web.....
Find video clip that I need for tomorrow's classes
Lunch with former dean
PhD proposal defense
Arrange doctor's appointment
Remember to buy milk and biscuits for tonight's meeting
Find tea and coffee to take along tonight as I forgot to check levels last week
Fun evening meeting

How hard is it to find a pair of pants for work? Very hard, I guess. And there must be something about my taste in clothes, since I was only able to find bathrobe and sweatpants I liked in the men's sections.

paddington, eat something MORE! <stern look>

So far today I've had two pieces of toast, a handful of animal crackers, a few M&Ms, and an Icee at Target. I have a headache, not surprisingly. I think I can eat something more substantial for dinner.

Sigh. Daniel Craig.

Sigh. Daniel Craig.

Yup. Surprisingly I haven't talked Mr. W. into the DC James Bond movie marathon yet. But I will.

Good night, paddington, erictho, tba, scotia, wegie and lohai .

I am home. Long day. Mr. W. had a three hour nap after treatment but he (and Mama) also walked one lap of the neighborhood, and a friend came to visit for half an hour. Yea.

I have fed the husband and the mother and now I am going to eat ice cream and call it supper. Mama is scandalized. I told her to get over it and have some, too.

Two of the three were great and should be accepted. The other one was the Worst Paper Ever Written that I am under a professional obligation to reject with extreme prejudice.
