Has black magic been done such that spambots are confined to the "Discuss Chronicle Articles" board?

No, they just think that that's the forum that will get the most traffic. It's the Ford Prefect effect applied to forum spamming.

Have you worked on that project today?

Mods, I'm sorry, but simply deleting the posts is NOT GETTING THROUGH to our current spammer (who is surely among the most industrious in memory).  You need to BAN him/her/it.

The naughty one? Yes.  Ban s/h/it.

Right.  And then we're going to lock Polly in a room and have her read HP7 rather more attentively.  --But that's another story, sorry.

What?  Fine.  Homework as soon as I unpack my fiction books, probably sometime next summer.

However, I demand a list of pre-reading questions and a study guide for what's on the test.

Thanks; noted. I got everything so far from the latest (17 at last count) and have noted it for the staff mods as something to watch.

I really think there needs to be some kind of verification system for new account creation.

But they're selling fake passports today; a verification system might be child's play for them.
