Although Jerusalem is very attractive, especially for being the Jesus' land, I would go to Paris.
I'm from Brazil and I have the same view from the outside, it is very risky to go alone to a country with conflicts. I hope this helps.

Since spam isn't kosher, you would probably be better off in Paris.  No go away.
