Today:
--Must-do home-front paperwork.
--Summer course calendars finalized
--2 letter of Rec.
--Email dig out
--assign fall UTAs

--New pants and shoes for Bioson <-- ended up being a huge shopping trip to Big Box store since he needed all new summer clothes, socks, underwear... and shoes. Bioette got a couple of shirts and new underwear. The darn kids just keep outgrowing their clothes!  I swear I need to have my paycheck direct deposited to Big Box store since they have clothes and groceries and that's where the money all goes anyway
--Start the Big Toy Sort
--Trampoline and gazebo cover up outside

Tomorrow:
--order Bioette's party stuff
--continue the Big Toy Sort
--syllabi prepped
--Websites CMS and TII ready

--Add other things I have not yet remembered
--Massage. Desperately Need Massage.

Morning, BT!

I am doing house stuff today.

Sort toys and clothes to do from Sprout's room
Clean house (mop, vacuum, sheets, dust, mirrors, trash--I did the bathroom yesterday)
Tidy and declutter office
Finish Sprout's red tunic
Make tabard

I will probably not get all of this done today; the cleaning, tunic, and office are the top priorities.

Good luck all!

Hi Everyone -- back in town after two short trips out and feeling a bit out of the loop. It looks like a lot of you are doing life/home/sanity lists, which is inspiring.

I just swept up my apartment as a compromise cleaning episode and I'm taking a short break now. But I'll check back in soon!

Priority
Read book review book - three more chapters
Think about/outline EF article
Send advert for Project A for 2013 out to more groups
Finalize PL Application
Send invite emails out for Project M for May out

General To-do
Go through finances for Project A for 2012 and get reimbursed

Sanity/Home
Massage appointment
Clean Bathroom
Bake apple or banana bread
Prepare a soup for the week
Clean out hall closet
Pick out some new fun recipes to try
Prepare grocery shopping list

Morning all!  Welcome back, crumpet--I hope you had a nice time!

I did finish the office yesterday, and some of the house stuff (but not all.)  I also got a lot of piddly pre-prep for fall courses done, and some reading and note taking.

Today:
Do beta testing
1 hour writing
Empty mailbox
Call about bounce house birthday prices
Make eye appointment
Call about car insurance
Return or renew [long list of] library books
Pick up passport application for Sprout
Refill prescription

Let's see if I can knock all that out. I'm going to play on the fora for 5 minutes while I wait for the coffee/advil to kick in, then I'm going to start.

Good luck all! i'll check in shortly.

Hi Marigolds -- glad to see you here! Good luck on your list!!

I'm going to tackle my closet of doom. I've been procrastinating on it for a while and building it up in my mind. Time to get it off my list! I'll check in again if I survive...

Closet of doom cleaned out. I have a bag of books to give away, I found some useful things (!!) and I repaired something necessary as well. It wasn't nearly as bad as I feared. I'm going to take another lazy break (its Bank Holiday!) and then try to tackle something else...

I'm back for real now. It looks like you've all been very productive.

Diss:
Get set up for return to work tomorrow

Finish up semester:
Mark final papers
Mark corrected papers
Record participation marks

Home:
Dinner
Plant beets & spinach
Put laundry away
Nap (maybe)

Good to see you MM!!

I've done pretty well on the home front today, but I haven't made much progress on my priority work list. I'm going to take another short break and then try to tackle the book review book again as well as send out my project advert to some more people. Those are small and manageable tasks!

How's everyone else doing?

I've got ten papers down and twelve to go. Can I do it by 4?

New list item: remove worst excesses from house before Katimavik rep arrives.

Just got back from the second grade field trip to a nature center. Other than the gawdawful heat (low 80's) it was lovely.

Of course, now I'm TIRED and don't want to work. Still need to get the website and course calendar ready for course 2. And other stuff.

Today:
--2 letter of Rec.
--Summer course calendar finalized
--Start the Big Toy Sort
--Gazebo cover up outside
--order Bioette's party stuff
--1 syllabus prepped
--Websites CMS and TII ready for class 2

--Massage.

First up: a shower so I don't smell like sweat and feet. Then I need to do letters of rec.

So glad to see everybody back!  I spent most of the morning vaguely prepping for my developmental class in the fall (first time)--AKA browsing old fora topics that come up when I search "developmental."  But hey, it's sort of productive, right?

Heading home now. Will try to ACTUALLY work on some of the boring small things (phone calls, faugh) when I get there.

Didn't make my Monday deadline.

Grade 15 digital presentations from business writing. Done. One plagiarized.

Grade 35 freshman research projects. Done. Three plagiarized.

Grade 15 business writing research projects. Done. One plagiarized.

Grade 15 majors' course research projects.

110 freshman finals. 68 done and 42 to finish tomorrow, while giving a grad exam to a student heading off early for a conference.

Decide on the majors' course final questions.

Print out the business writing finals.

Decide what I'm going to do about the four plagiarizing students.
Set up meetings with the four plagiarizing students.
Meet with the four plagiarizing students.

Doesn't that make YOUR grading sound so much better?

Compdoc, it does.

I did not finish my 12 papers. I did make dinner, put the laundry away, and convince the Katimavik coordinator that we are sane enough to host a young adult.
