Husband and I have tenure at universities within 40 minutes of one another, and I don't see us hitting that jackpot again, so we are here for the long haul. First (and probably only) TT job for me, second for him.

Luckily, we both love our jobs and are somewhere between liking and tolerating the area.

I'm in my first t-t job too, and I have tenure.  It would take an amazing--and highly unlikely--opportunity to get me to budge. I'm comfortable where I am and I'm having too much fun discovering a life outside of work.

I'm still on my first TT job, now tenured. I apply every year but very selectively--only similar or better positions in a more exciting town than the one I'm in now. I'm not desperate to move at all, but I will move if I get a great offer.
