Bama is about an eight hour drive one way, which might be ok if it's only one weekend a month or so. But then . . . I'd be a Bammer :) As someone who roots for another SEC school, I might not be able to forgive myself.

I'll definitely look into Nova Southeastern University though. Thanks all!

The top schools that I know of with low residency programs are at University of Georgia, Vanderbilt, and University of Pennsylvania.

I know someone at a community college who did the Vanderbilt program and was/ still is a dean of liberal arts at a community college.  It worked well for her.
