I use liquid fabric softener in the washer and that takes care of most of the static cling.

I do have a couple clingy long narrow skirts that will creep up the leggings I wear under the in the winter, even with fabric softener, but a long slip seems to take care of that.

That reminds me of my late teen years, when I wore long dresses over tights in the winter, exclusively.  Over this I wore a parka.  As I walked, the fabric of my long dress would habitually bunch up around the crotch area. Every five minutes, I would yank it out and back down.  Very attractive.

That basically describes me scurrying down the hallway to teach class. And I'm well past my late teen years.
