I've recently used the search function and found some threads on Augustana College and the Quad Cities.  However, the threads were about 5 or 6 years old.  I am wondering if anyone has any insight on the college or the Quad Cities area from the past few years?  Thank you in advance.

I met a recruiter from Augustana a few months ago.  She told me that it was very common for them to hire VAPs on one-year contracts.  She also gave me some job information and the salary was quite low (about $40-45,000).  I can't speak of the caliber of the school, but I can't imagine that too many people will pack their bags for a one-year contract that might not be renewed.
