Not being familiar with this text, I looked it up to see if it was indeed written originally in Latin. Imagine my shock to discover that it was originally written in French.
French, Latin, English... whatever. As long as you have "a deep covenant of it," you'll be fine.
And I'm still stuck on a diva being a hero because she is a diva.
Dr. Alcott, I think that by the end of the term, you will also be able to say (sadly) that you have experience with this student's lack of intelligence. I'm sorry.
I'm afraid I'm going to have
many of my own sentences to share soon. Here are two from today's batch:
"While mercury compound is toxic, poisonous, and has no biologic [sic] effects at all...." <heavy sigh>
"Stem cells can be used to promote the compromised immune system of individuals suffering from Alzheimer's."
And did you know that stem cells were used to induce Alzheimer's disease in rats? Me neither.
It's going to be a long term.
