I agree, definitely wear shoes.

Yes, my thoughts exactly. Now if I could only decide on the most appropriate underwear for an interview.

My former spouse (not MrP) had played high school and college football. He had lucky underwear, which he saved for special occasions. I managed, in seven years of marriage, not glimpse it; I shudder to imagine what it must have looked like by then.

On the other hand, if you have lucky underwear of your own, this might be the right occasion for it--and look, I've found a quiz for you to take on the subject! Overall, though, I would suggest wearing something that will not remind you of its presence by bunching up, creeping, sagging, or doing any of those other annoying underwear things. (Are there shirt stay-like contraptions for underwear? Inquiring minds want to know...)
