I'd like to learn more about the Dillingham Commission, LeRoy Percy (my uncle), eugenics, anarchists, Lodge, T. Roosevelt, Madison Grant, Taft, race suicide, preferably in one handy overview focused on the rhetoric and pseudo-science, but that also eplored resulting policy. Ideas?

When I was googling the names of several authors that came to mind in order to get the exact titles of their books, this link came up, and if you scroll to the bottom, a very nice bibliography appears.

Thanks to Professor Smith for saving me a lot of typing!

An addition to that bibliography that touches on policy issues (i.e., citizenship laws and interpretations of equal protection) within the broader contexts of racism, religious discrimination and nativism is Rogers Smith's Civic Ideals.

Thanks to you both. I am specifically wondering how reliable the stats in the Dillingham Report are, given its intended use.
