Hello everyone,
I posted my query on the working abroad section but got no answer and then I noticed the Middle East section which might be more appropriate in fact.
Advice anyone on what to look for and what to negotiate in a contract (associate professor level) at a chartered university in the Middle East?
Yearly travel home, housing, education fees for children, promotion (they do not have a proper tenure system but can I still ask for a revision process and a timeline?)? And what about the end of service benefits?
Any advice on what one can realistically ask and/or negotiate will be very appreciated.
With many thanks in advance.

Ronin,

Without knowing which country you are asking about, I wouldn't be able to tell you what to expect.
