Regarding my University crime rate?

I had come to know that the crime rate of University of Bridgeport. i got admit from it. Is it safe to move forward to visa interview.
Can any one say me about the climatic conditions of it?

Rahul I think people will have difficulty understanding your question because of your English language skills (which need work if you are to go to an American university!).
Do you want to know what the crime rate is in comparison to other universities? Isn't the city's crime rate more relevant than the actual university? And you need to know what kinds of crimes are being committed: If people are violent against particular ethnic groups of which you are a part, that is far more relevant than general crime rate.

Just don't walk around there at night. The area's fairly sketchy. There are safe places to live in Bridgeport, but that area isn't really one of them. Black Rock, Brooklawn, and the North End are all fine.

I drove through UB last night. The campus per se is secure enough, but the area on the whole is sketchy.
