It's been over 6 months now - no word. I emailed the PO on Monday, no response.
Has anyone heard?

Unfortunately, yes. Last week.
They released the context statement identifying the number of funded proposals during this round, so if you haven't heard yet, then you probably will soon. Only about 12% will be funded this cycle.

Anyone else still waiting on their NSF TUES Type-I proposals from 5/2011? It would be sure nice to know soon, especially since the 2012 CfP is due in 7 weeks!

I did, about once a month since January - it'd be nice if he returned the calls after leaving a message or replied to his email!

Still waiting here too, if it's any comfort. Got a nice email from the program officer several months ago, but have been unable to reach him since. My colleague and I are unsure of how to proceed because -- as you wrote -- the resubmission deadline is fast approaching

The status date of my grant changed from August 2011 to this Monday's date. Any idea what that means?

From what I know, that just means something in your file was updated - maybe a new review, a change in the summary of reviews, updated context statement, etc.

To my knowledge is not a good sign, but good luck to you.
