Has anyone heard about the "
library phantom
" and the paper scultures? Has anyone seen them? I would love to hear more.

Oh, how lovely! I hadn't heard about the sculptures, but I'm glad to know about them. Thanks for posting this.

I am an insanely elegant, super classy poor white, for the record.

I hadn't heard about this either, but they're marvelous. And so is the maintenance of the artist's anonymity. I love the wren cap best, I think!

I saw the one in the National Library of Scotland and it was brilliant. It's the one paying homage to Ian Rankin crime novels and is in the shape of a coffin. The artistry, time and patience that went into making all of these. Whomever the phantom is, she is awesome. I love these little 'love tokens' that she's been leaving.

How marvelous! My favorite from the photos is the "poetree."
