I am interested in working in the US Virgin Islands.  Does anyone have first hand information or experiences to share?  How is the cost of living vs. salaries for example?

Can't speak for the Virgin islands, but Antigua has been an interesting experience.  Salary was competitive, but cost for living (in a decent area - which we had to pay close attention to) was a bit higher as well.

However, I will say that the biggest surprise to me is how much it is like everywhere else.  I admit to holding the misconception that it would be like something out the movies, but it's a lot like living in US suburbs - only with more beaches.
