What is negotiable for a L/SL position in the UK?

I have a simple question, what terms are usually negotiable for a L/SL position in the UK? Any differences from that of an AP position in US? Thanks.

Looks like this is not such a simple question. 'AP' is what? Assistant Prof or Associate Prof?
You might be able to negotiate your grade on the salary scale, within limits. You might be able to negotiate some research or start-up funds or equipment (heavily dependent on subject, department and university). You need to have something with which to negotiate (e.g., masses of publications, your own portable research funding, another offer).
You should not expect to negotiate a spouse/partner position or immediate 'tenure' (though you might negotiate going up a year or two early for permanent appointment).

You can try and negotiate the length of your probation, your start date, and when your first sabbatical will be (I know people who have done all three of these things). There is relatively little room to negotiate on the salaries, though you may be able to go up a point or two.
