Hi all,

I'm wondering if anyone here has input on what a good background educational and experiential for a disability services in higher ed career would be. Judging from the job ads I've seen, the requirements don't seem "hard and fast" (other than experience working with people with disabilities, of course), so if anyone has any personal or professional experience, observations, or opinions in this area, I'd love to hear it.

Our disabilities coordinator worked in social work and has a degree in counseling.  I think he also may have a certificate in disability support.
