New Orleans 2012 conferences, colloquia, talks?

Hi! Anyone have any conferences or related events in New Orleans coming up this year? I've been searching CFP and nothing so far ... I'm trying to combine travel funding for a talk with (very small) grant funding for research around Tulane University. Arts, humanities, and/or education preferred. Many thanks for any leads!

More social science than humanities, but the Southern Political Science Association meets in NOLA in early January, and the American PSA meets there in early September 2012.

There's a website dedicated to listing conferences held throughout the year and around the world. The link escapes me. Anyone?

My goodness, that was an exceptionally good analysis of the forum.

If you want to attend something on short notice, the PCA of the South is having a conference there at the JW Marriott Oct 6-9th. This Oct, so in a few days. I will be there and it should be a great time!

There's some kind of Irish American studies group meeting in March at the Hotel Monteleone.
Try the Tennessee Williams Literary Festival, also (I think) in March.
