I have my first teaching assignment this Fall. I am teaching the freshman Prin of Acctg I class.
Does anyone on the forum have any good advice or links to teaching materials or aids ?? This will be my first time to teach other than as a substitute in a HS acctg class.

I think the main thing to try to keep students engaged, because accounting can be tedious at times (and I'm grad accounting student so I can say that!), so encouraging lots of class participation, running through lots of examples and problems in class, having "fill in the blank" lecture notes, etc. can all be helpful, in my opinion.

Thanks - I will work on "hands-on" exercises and hopefully some class interaction assignments.
